Call for Independent Experts

Australian Grape & Wine is looking for suitably qualified individuals to join our database of Independent Experts for the Code of Conduct for Australian Winegrape Purchases. Independent Experts may be engaged to deliver a determination in the case that a dispute occurs.

Under the new Code there are two types of disputes that may require expert advice:

• A dispute over whether grapes have been correctly assessed in accordance with the requirements set out in the Agreement; or
• A dispute as to whether the price for the grapes has been properly determined.

Applicants must ideally have either a minimum of 5 years of experience in vineyard and winegrape assessment and contract arrangements, or have experience in pricing mechanisms used in grape supply agreements, grape pricing and factors influencing the winegrape market.
