WFA Packaging Guidelines – Call for Input

The Packaging Committee provides a forum for direct discussion among stakeholders – and advice to the WFA Board – on political, technological, environmental, regulatory and market driven changes in wine, wine product and brandy packaging.

Te ensure a collaborative sector approach, the Wine Industry Suppliers Australia Inc (WISA) is coordinating a call for input to the Packaging Guidelines, on behalf of WFA, seeking feedback on the following:

  • Technical updates required to be revised in the current guidelines
  • Technical information on existing/new packaging innovation/technology not currently covered in the guidelines
  • Recommendations to be included in the guidelines to ensure best practise and outcomes for winemakers as it relates to their packaging needs.

Please review the current guidelines here.

WISA will collect and consolidate feedback for consideration by the WFA Packaging Committee.  An updated Packaging Guidelines document will be available in due course.

Deadline for submissions: 31 July 2018
